I have posted four auctions they are listed under my seller name: ds9jullian

These are the dresses that I made earlier in this month. I hope they sell because I need the cash to pay my bills.

I'm not sure if you are open to suggestions or not but... I have found that my auctions get more hits and will sell for more if I use a gallery picture... it's 35 cents extra but worth it. I know myself when I'm just surfing on ebay I dont usually look in a listing unless I see a picture that catches my attention on the outside kwim?

    Just a thought.

    Good luck with your auctions!!

I agree. A gallery picture makes a big difference. I tend to skip over the ones that don't have photos. Can you post a link to your auctions?

I couldn't figure out how to do that. I am new to ebay, these are the very first items I am selling.

I am watching your auctions. I think you do gorgeous work! Keep in mind that a lot of people just put auctions on their watch list and bid in the last hour or so. That's what I do with auctions I am serious about winning. I will second the suggestion about using the gallery feature. It's kind of annoying, actually, because it seems like almost everyone uses gallery on every auction now, so if you don't use it your auctions can easily get lost in the shuffle.

Ashley, if you go to revise your auction ebay will give you a list of recommendations and add a gallery photo will be on it. You only need to click on add a gallery photo and it will be the first picture in your auction.

Done, for the two that don't have bids on yet.

I would really like to get them to sell because I bid on something I really don't need. I got the yellow bunks, and complete computer desk for $55 total this evening.

Ashley - don't be discouraged! Your dresses are beautiful. Most AG bidders are very e-Bay saavy and bid at the very last minute. I agree that adding a gallery image is important because of how many AG listing there are. Good luck!

PS - When you have time, play around with the revise your item section of e-Bay. You can change the font type and size as well as color for no extra charge.

I would also highly reccomend shipping with delivery confirmation for an extra 50 cent with US Priority Mail. That way, no one can say they never received the item you shipped. That happened to me once, and I used Delivery Confirmation ever since. I add it to my shipping charge and don't give buyers an option on that.
